SHORT BIO
GEORGE is a senior Executive with strong Regional Management, General Management, Marketing / Sales Management and international Product Marketing experience, climbing management hierarchy upon achievements in four multinational pharmaceutical companies i.e. Zoetis, Baxter, Merck-Schering Plough, SmithKline Beecham for the last 27 years, operating in Greece and abroad; RBT and GBT (Global Strategy Team) committees’ member.
Deep Pharma / Biotechnology / Animal Health market / Medical Device knowledge for all therapeutic areas / categories, targeted to both Private (IMS), Generic market and Hospital sectors, (i.e. Specialty and wide use products, including novel biotech products) collaborating with all MD and Vet profession specialties.
High performance professional with proven track record in managing growth / profit / costs, set-up and turnaround situations in highly competitive environments; demonstrated strategic thinking, leadership ability, hands-on approach and work “know-how”, compliance to industry operating standards, crisis management, commercial policy set up, and multicultural openness.
Following Varvakios model school, George obtained a B.Sc. in Pharmacy, and studied Biotechnology at Imperial College University of London.
George is currently managing 6 countries in southeast Europe.
