Dimitris Alexandrou is one of the founders and Business Services Director of UBITECH, a leading, highly innovative software house, systems integrator and technology provider, designing, implementing and deploying software projects and solutions worldwide, by its operations with offices in Athens, Limassol and Buenos Aires. He holds a PhD in Software Engineering, as well as a Diploma in Electrical and Computer Engineering, both from National Technical University of Athens. Apart from his engagement with the Research & Development activities, he is responsible for the Corporate Overseas Activities, the Public Sector Tenders and IT Projects, the Private Sector Projects, and the IT Consulting Services. He has been working as a Software Engineer since 2000, by participating in several large-scale IT projects. Since 2005, he has been leading software development teams as well as international business development. He has published about 15 scientific papers in international journals and conferences, all in the field of Information and Communications Technologies in Healthcare and has served as reviewer in international conferences and journals. He is a Member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) and a member of the Technical Chamber of Greece.
